Eliminating the Redundancies Inherent in a Financial System

Implementing Unified Financial System Frameworks, Technologies, and Processes

Spire collaborated with the state’s financial agencies to plan for the implementation of modern, unified financial system frameworks, technologies, processes, and policies. The current systems were outdated and unable to readily communicate the information needed to make important decisions. Our engagement team assisted the clients in identifying significant duplication of efforts alongside a prevalence of secondary systems.  

For this project, Spire developed a draft design that standardized account codes, which could be incorporated into a cloud-based accounting system, and provided recommendations on implementation challenges. Spire, the clients, and project stakeholders worked to address the state’s financial systems that enabled growth, transparency, enhanced functionality and usage.
